Karl has been planning and buying media for 22 years, most recently in the role of Vice President, Media Director for Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising.

Over his career he has developed and executed insight driven communication plans within a wide range of categories including packaged goods & confectionary, video gaming, financial, and automotive.

Karl's role at Saatchi is to energize the creative message by fully exploiting the potential of each media opportunity that crosses his path.

He currently sits on the Board of the Canadian Media Directors Council, as well as the Agency and Research councils for IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau).

Originally from Nova Scotia, Karl earned his B.Comm from Mount Allison University and holds a masters certificate in advanced marketing from Schulich (York U.).
