Aldo Cundari


After completing studies at L'Instituto Europeo di Disegno in Rome, Italy, Aldo quickly established himself in the marketing field in Canada. By 1980, he had created the foundation for what would become Cundari Group Ltd. Today, Aldo's forward-thinking and innovative enterprise has grown to become one of Canada's largest independent communications Agencies, Cundari - Integrated Communication Services; Branding and Design Services; Interactive – Web and Software development services; all with the goal of providing great insights and creative to build brands.

Cundari applies creative thought leadership to the building of business solutions for clients. Guided by the core philosophy "It's the thought that counts," Cundari, works seamlessly across an array of disciplines such as research, strategic planning, brand identity, advertising, design, digital/mobile, experiential, direct and media. Cundari is proud to be entrusted with brands: BMW, Subway, Telus, Northern Ontario Tourism, Dempster's, Maple Leaf Foods and CIBC.

Aldo has served as chief judge of the World Globe Awards since 2000, and in 1998, was included in Marketing Magazine's "Power List: The 100 Most Influential People in Canadian Communications." In 2006, Aldo became a Fellow of the Quantum Shift program at the Ivey Institute for Entrepreneurs. ." In 2009, Aldo completed the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management Board Effectiveness Program.

In 2008 and 2009, he was selected as one of Ernst & Young's Entrepreneurs of the Year. And in 2010 was appointed to the CMA – Canadian Marketing Association board of directors and executive committee. Since 2011 Aldo serves as Judging Chair of the CMA Awards, and co-chair of the CMA 2012 and 2013 Summit
